I'm trying to support CFI in whatever ways I can, so I set up a fundraiser on razoo (an online platform that allows people to promote NGOs they support and handles transactions free of charge).

About this blog
As the title suggests, I am writing this Blog from Battambang, the second largest city of Cambodia. I'm a German volunteer staying here for one year with "Youth for Peace" a Cambodian NGO that is committed to educate youth in non-violent approaches to conflict resolution.
I am here in Cambodia via DED (German Development Service) as are 21 other volunteers this year, 2 of which will also work with YfP.
Being a volunteer without specific training, I am an 'irregular' worker in Cambodia and do my best to fill that role in as meaningful a way as I can.
Therefore, I have started working with Children's Future International (CFI) - a young NGO doing some of the greatest work I've seen anyone doing in Cambodia - besides my work at YfP.
This Blog is a first effort to share the impressions I gather here with someone else -> you, enjoy :)
If after reading of my experiences at CFI, you feel compelled to support that great initiative:
